Crypto venture capital (VC) funding could rise to over $18 billion in 2025, driven by the return of “general investors” in the crypto sector, the post-Trump election victory, and Bitcoin reaching an all-time high in the fourth quarter of 2024 , according to an analysis published by Robert Le of Pitchbook.
In an interview with CNBC on Saturday evening, Pitchbook’s Le noted that several favorable conditions have been created for the return of crypto investors in 2025, which will ultimately lead to an increase in VC funding of over 50% compared to 2024 $11 billion to $12 billion in funding was allocated. “The setup looks great, there is an expectation that the regulatory environment will become more favorable, the macroeconomic environment looks pretty good and many of the tokens, Solana, Bitcoin, they have all reached or exceeded their ATHs.” We predict that we will see in… $18 billion or more.
