One of Solana’s co-founders, Stephen Akridge, is embroiled in a legal dispute with his former wife Elisa Rossi over alleged misappropriation of proceeds from lucrative SOL tokens.
According to a lawsuit filed in San Francisco Superior Court, Rossi has accused Akridge of stealing “millions of dollars” worth of staking rewards from her digital wallet.
According to Bloomberg report, the complaint alleges that Akridge exploited his superior knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain to secretly divert their betting income.
Staking is a process in which crypto holders pledge their assets to validate blockchain transactions and earn additional tokens in return. Rossi’s lawsuit alleges that Akridge took advantage of her limited expertise in the field to obtain these rewards.
