Magic Eden has expanded its ecosystem to Sei Blockchain, a non-fungible token marketplace announced via X Post on Wednesday. According to the announcement, the multi-chain NFT platform will be launched on SEI with an NFT launch pad, mint terminal, and marketplace.
This announcement comes just six weeks after Magic Eden expanded its support to BeraChain and ApeChain, making the two chains the eighth and ninth networks in the rapidly growing ecosystem.
With the expansion to Sei, Magic Eden will be accessible on 10 blockchains, with Monad set to be the 11th on that list when the layer 1 blockchain debuts on the testnet.
Magic Eden's expansion goes beyond just providing NFT creation and trading tools on a variety of blockchains.
In April, the company announced a partnership with distributed cloud computing infrastructure provider Aethir to build an integrated Web3 gaming ecosystem that leverages Aethir's enterprise-grade GPU infrastructure and Magic Eden's NFT platform. .
In August, Magic Eden also announced that it would adopt the ME token to facilitate cross-chain NFT trading experiences on its platform. Developed by ME Foundation, this token can be accessed through Magic Eden desktop and mobile wallets.
In April, Magic Eden became the largest NFT marketplace by trading volume. This was largely driven by the debut of Runes and the platform's expansion into the Bitcoin ecosystem.
