Richard Heart, founder of the popular Ethereum-based token Hex, has received a red notice from Interpol in connection with aggravated tax fraud and assault on a 16-year-old girl.
The red notice against 45-year-old Richard Schueler alias Richard “Heart” was issued by Interpol at the request of the Finnish authorities. The notice does not constitute an international arrest warrant against Heart, even though Finnish law enforcement authorities are seeking him in two separate criminal cases.
Earlier this year, Heart was on the EU’s most wanted list for the same charge. The authorities suspect Heart of committing tax fraud in the period 2020-2024, and a pre-trial detention order was issued against him for the first time on September 13, 2024.
