The development team behind dog-themed meme asset Floki (FLOKI) announces a plan to launch a new exchange-traded product (ETP).
In a new thread on the social media platform
“We have been actively working with a reputable asset manager and an ETP issuer for some time to bring a Floki ETP to market. After months of careful review and diligent efforts, we have been informed that the Floki ETP is on track to go live in early Q1 2025. This proposal envisages the Floki DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) approving liquidity for the Floki ETP! ”
An ETP allows investors to gain exposure to specific assets without having to actually purchase them.
In the proposal, the Floki team says that the ETP is already at an advanced stage and will become tradable on the SIX Swiss Exchange, the largest stock exchange in Switzerland, as early as next year and will be the second meme coin in the world to have a live one becomes ETP.
