Artificial intelligence company xAI, founded by Elon Musk, has successfully raised $6 billion, significantly increasing its startup’s competitiveness with competitors such as OpenAI. The company said it intends to use the funds to strengthen its base and advance its research and development.
The most important participants in this financing round included BlackRock, Fidelity and Sequoia Capital. xAI’s products include the Grok chatbot, which is backed by US venture capitalists as well as chipmakers such as NVIDIA and AMD, as well as investment funds from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
