A billion-dollar US bank is warning thousands of customers of a major data breach. According to a filing with the Maine Attorney General’s Office, 8,358 customers of Citizens Bank – the 16th largest bank in the U.S. by total assets – are affected. The breach is attributed to “insider misconduct” that is believed to have occurred on October 23, 2023. New data from a crypto insights platform shows that Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded the largest single-day net outflows since their launch in January.
