Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, is excited about the upcoming release of Shiba Inu’s new racing game Lap Dogs.
In an X post today, Kusama reacted to the upcoming release of Lap Dogs, noting that the game represents another victory for the Web3 gaming space. This comes as the Shiba Inu ecosystem team plans to expand the Web3 gaming industry with the upcoming launch of Lap Dogs.

In a follow-up comment, the Shiba Inu leader expressed his pride in the team behind SHIB: The Metaverse for developing the game.
Lap Dogs is preparing for its upcoming launch
For comparison: the gaming branch of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Play with Shib, caused a stir in the community with the release of the Lap Dogs trailer.
The X-handle playfully suggested that all Shiba Inu-themed characters are “the best bois.” The community was asked to prepare and find out which of these characters is the fastest in the dog racing game.

Roles of Shiboshi and SHEboshi in lap dogs
In particular, Shibarium Updates (@Shibizens) provided further insight into the game and highlighted its connection to Shiba Inu’s Metaverse project SHIB: The Metaverse.
According to the post, Lap Dogs highlights Shiba Inu NFTs – Shiboshi and SHEboshi – as the central characters of the game.
