Interpol, the international police agency, has issued a “Red Notice” for Richard Schueler, widely known as Richard Heart, the founder of Hex. The announcement follows allegations of tax fraud and physical violence and marks another major development in the ongoing investigation into the controversial cryptocurrency figure.
A Red Notice serves as a global alert, requiring law enforcement to locate and temporarily arrest an individual pending extradition or similar legal proceedings. The Finnish authorities have launched the tender for Schueler, but it is important to note that a Red Notice is not an international arrest warrant.

Details of the assault allegations on the most wanted list
In addition to the Red Notice, Schueler is on the list of Europe’s most wanted fugitives, which details the allegations against him. He is accused of physically assaulting a 16-year-old by grabbing her by the hair, dragging her into a stairwell and throwing her to the ground.
The arrest warrant for Schueler’s arrest was issued three months ago, on September 13, 2024. Finnish authorities allege that Schueler engaged in tax evasion over a period of almost four years, from June 2, 2020 to April 2, 2024.
Actions by the Finnish Police and SEC
Helsinki police detective Harri Saaristola previously told Finnish broadcaster Yle that discrepancies between Schueler’s reported income and the tax authority’s estimates raised suspicions. The Red Notice follows months of legal efforts by Finnish authorities to arrest Schueler.
